Kitty life and a hair cut

Hello there. I've been overwhelmed with life lately, and quite frankly, I haven't had much to write about.

But there's always baby kitty. 

How fitting was this birthday present that I got from my friend, Katey. 

Katey is so happy for Andrew and me and our new addition. 

Even though it doesn't look like it, Aubie is getting to be a bit feisty. She must take after her mama. {That's me.} And to brag on my husband, he is the best cat dad. He even gave her a bath since she's got ring worm. I like to call Andrew "Cat Dad" but some of his family opted for "Kitty Diddy", which, of course, works too. 

In other {normal} news, we went to Alabama last weekend, and we were so glad to see some foliage this fall. When you live in south Louisiana, there is none. But while in Alabama, we took in the beautiful change of the seasons. 

Oh, I also cut all my hair off. It was time. I like it some days; some days I don't. 

This is what I was supposed to look like. 

My mama always said she's always liked me better with short hair. She said I reminded her of Natalie Wood. 

If only...

The good news is: Andrew likes it. And that's all that matters to me. 

I'll be back when LSU hopefully, God willing, beats the stew out of Bama. Gew, that was gross to even write that word.
