I got well and got new dreams

A quick update from your slacking blogger friend:

I was sick last weekend.

Really sick. Hospital-sick. Three bags of IV fluids-sick. The nurse threw away my ice because I couldn't keep it down-sick.

It all started when LSU was about to beat the shiitake mushroom out of Bama. (That was the sign at the produce stand this week.) Andrew and I were at TJ Ribs when I told him we had to go home immediately. We did and things went south for me. Fortunately, not for LSU though. They still came up with the win. And that's all that matters in life, right?

Gatorade was my friend during that trying time.

Andrew was my friend, too. He would take care of me and tell me the LSU score. I would smile, unfazed. When you feel that bad, you wouldn't care if you just won the lottery.

In other news, I went home on Monday to spend some time with my mom and our Texas friend, Ms. Glenda. We ate lunch at a friend's house and while I was there, picked grapefruit, oranges, basil, mint, rosemary, and parsley.

It's the little things in life that make me so blissfully happy.

I realized that day, all I want is a small house on lots of land with babies and a garden. All to share with my husband. Is that too much to ask?

I'd give God all the glory, too. I promise I would.

i always say "shitake mushroom" -- i guess that's my code since stephen is a sponge for everything we say now.

    nice dreams.
