...and I quit calligraphy.
You may be wondering why I haven't updated you on the calligraphy masterpiece that I once told you about.
Well here are the excuses:
1. I didn't like the style of italic calligraphy. I wanted to learn something more on the lines of copperplate.
2. The teacher was super scattered. It took her 30 minutes to pass out each pencil, eraser, calligraphy pen, and handout sheets. I don't like people that move slow, especially when you pay for a class that you expect to get the ball rolling and learn something.
3. My mom didn't like it either.
4. The classes were on a Monday night, and then we got invited to participate in a bible study that happened to fall on Monday nights as well. Sorry Miss slow-paced calligraphy lady, I'd rather hang out with my husband, other couples, and learn about Jesus.
So I took all of my little calligraphy essentials and packed them away for another time...if there's ever "another time."
