We stayed at mom's friends home, a Presbytere built in 1699. They loved the fact that their home was built when New Orleans was being built as a city. We also went to their "new" chateau in the Loire Valley; it was built in the 1400s.
We had tea with friends nearly everyday at 4. I saw the most beautiful pieces of china that way. We were all so inspired to use our china everyday for tea at 4; hopefully that will become a charming habit for us back here in the States.

In conclusion, France consists of flowers, bread, cheese, croissants, cheese, and chateau's.
I joke. But, we truly enjoyed them all. While I was there, French people asked me the name of my baby. For 2 weeks only he was Jean Henri. They were impressed with Jean Henri's appetite. Now that we're Stateside, John Henry is getting fed a more well balanced diet. I've noticed an increase in his movement; I think he's asking for more croissants.
Tomorrow, I will document the conclusion of our trip: Paris...again...in the sunshine.
