And while Ms. Louise called me three times yesterday, there has been so much joy to share time with her.
We talked of Psalm 91 as she promised. In Hebrews 12, I was given a lot of insight. And she tells me things of how "exquisitely beautiful" I am. {She has never laid eyes on me.} I'll take the compliment though. When's the last time I was called "exquisitely beautiful"? I can't remember a time.
She says, I suppose to validate her comment on my beauty, that "beauty is a spirit from within that produces joy and peace."
I wish you could hear her elderly, peaceful, very slow-producing voice.
My time talking with her was mainly due to the fact that I felt sorry for her in her old age with no one to converse with most of the day. What's funny is that she probably felt sorry for me for all of the wisdom that I have not yet gained with old age.
The other day she left me with this:
"Every day is a gift; it is an opportunity to serve Him."
I suppose I'll leave you with that too.
