I feel like I'm cheating when I make my husband's favorite meal.
It's cheating because it's so easy.
But honestly, who could ever go wrong when using this when cooking for your man?
Ranch.
It should be at the top of the "Marriage advice" list.
1. Put God first.
2. When in doubt, use ranch.
So true.
This dish is so good that Andrew's co workers have mixed feelings of love and hate regarding the smell that wafts in their direction when it's heated up in the micro.
Damn, that smells so good.
and
Damn, are you really getting to eat that today?
and
Damn, when is your wife gonna make that again?
I'm just realizing that the last month of blog posts from me have been about food.
Moving on.
Andrew asked me to make his favorite dish because the guys at work had been thinking it had been a while.
So I made it again this week. And to shut them up, I made a serving for his co-worker, Jeremy, along with the recipe.
{Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day...you know the rest}
And this is all it is:
Trust me. Get the Shur-fine brand, cheese only. I tried getting the fancy brand with stuffed sausage and cheese. You'll regret it.
Honestly, this blog post came about because I went to Ralph's market where I get this specific tortellini, and I couldn't find it. I found the manager, and she said that she thought it was being discontinued. I lost my marbles. And said in a slightly raised voice, "Well what am I supposed to do now?!" Like she cares "what I'm supposed to do now." Oh, but whoops, that was another brand she was thinking of. This one's okay. For now. Whew.
Moving on, again.
Top with ranch, your husband's beloved ranch.
It's quite rich, so a little goes a long way.
I think I'm done talking about food for a while. But I am making Paul Prudhomme's Chicken and Tasso this weekend!
Have a good one!
Looks so yummy! Husband is a BIG fan of ranch, so I'm definitely going to have to try it!
