Oatmeal scones?

"If life hands you lemons, make oatmeal scones." Whitney Lee

What's the opposite of being a perfectionist?

Whatever that word is, I'm it: the exact opposite of a perfectionist.

Yesterday, I wanted to make oatmeal cookies, and I found a delicious recipe. The only thing was that I was missing a few ingredients and I didn't want to go to the store. I had the wrong flour, wrongs oats, wrong sugar, wrong milk, no chocolate chips, and no banana.

No biggie.

Make it anyway.

The oatmeal cookies turned into oatmeal scones!

They were a little dry, but surprisingly good.

Add a little natural honey, and it's great.

Andrew said they smelled like popcorn, which honestly, the did. That's even coming from someone who couldn't smell too well yesterday, being sick and all.

And that same husband is a complete, 100%, take-an-hour-to-do-a-5-minute-job--perfectionist. I'm trying to figure if this being opposite thing is a good balance or one that drives each other crazy. I suppose it doesn't matter because we're married and that's that. His neurotic perfectionism and my popcorn-smelling, oatmeal scones, opposite of perfectionistic ways is what makes us the couple we are: weird.
