Super fun, grown-up stuff

So blogs are an account of your life; it is in my case at least. I hear sermons and sometimes words "stick" with me, and I choose to share it on my blog. I get stopped by cops and share it on my blog. I look forward to dance lessons with my husband and beach trips. I share that on my blog.

But this morning, I don't have anything to say.

Well that's not completely true; I always have something to say. There's nothing important I have to say.

We came home late last night from Birmingham where we had a fabulous time celebrating Andrew's brother's engagement.

What a wonderful Mexican party it was!

When we got home, we were faced with hanging curtains, watching the Oscar's, and going to bed early.

This morning, we are faced with car insurance crap questions, bills, finding a prescription that I lost, calling the A/C guy to come out to my house a third time in 2 weeks, reading and not understanding Hebrews, and cleaning a really messy house.

It's normal, boring, we're-grown-up, married life--stuff.

So when Andrew asked me if I wrote on my blog this morning, I said, "I ain't got nothin' to write about." Really, I said that verbatim.

But if blogs are really an account of our life happenings, I'll satisfy your curiosity and tell you this is it:

Looks fun, doesn't it?

I wouldn't dare show you the rest of my messy house. That's embarrassing.

  1. Ha! So funny, Whitney! I was thinking just the same thing this morning. So much to do... all "normal." But blogging deserves the normal stuff too!
