On Saturday, we planned to go to the country, as in, Napoleonville. Andrew and I have started saying "Napoleonville" like my 3 year old nephew says it: A-podium-bill. It's so funny and sweet in his 3 year old voice. What makes it so wonderful is that he says it in the most confident way. That's where we're going, of course, Apodiumbill.
We got there late morning to get some furniture and visit. Obviously, we ate well, too. But before we left, Andrew took a little phone pic of my parent's backyard near sunset.
It's just a simple little picture of the cane fields. It makes me happy in some plain, simple way.
In keeping with this simple weekend, we went to a sweet, downtown church on Sunday. It was nice, people were welcoming, and the Gospel was presented in a simple and encouraging way. We went out to lunch then went home and took 2 hour naps.
I can't think of a better weekend really.
Well maybe I can, but sometimes this lady likes things....simple.
Oh man I love me some 'polen!
