I needed a change of pace.
So I switched to instrumental. And that has become my Christmas music of choice. {Other than the Aaron Neville "Soulful Christmas" album, which is a given. It's my favorite}.
Handsome and distracting, I know, but back to my preference of the instrumental holiday tunes...
Around 2006, I bought my first instrumental Christmas album. I decided on...brace yourselves....KENNY G!
I absolutely love it. I play it most mornings as I make Andrew's breakfast and lunch. He hates it, and told me to never tell his brother that I listen to this garbage because the teasing will never cease.
It makes me feel happy and jolly. It's my way of getting in the Christmas spirit.
To that Andrew exclaims, "I feel like I'm in JC Penny!"
Merry Christmas!
"I feel like I'm in JC Penny!" hahaha love it.
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet day today is--I opened my mailbox and received your precious Christmas card and sweet note AND you have blog updates!! It is a Merry Christmas indeed.
I miss you.
I'm with Dorothy on A. Lee's JC Penny comment- LOL. I'm a major slacker on holiday tunes. I'll have to Pandora me some Kenny G.
