The time has come

Auburn...LSU. It's that time of year again. The big matchup within our little household. Oh what oh what is going to happen?

The game will be held in Auburn this year, and we will be headed there in a few hours.

In our 3 little years of knowing one another, we have lots of great memories together all revolving around one thing: football.

Iron Bowl 2007.

Auburn/LSU 2008, Auburn, AL

LSU/Bama, Baton Rouge, 2008.

Auburn/LSU, Auburn, AL 2008.

Auburn/LSU, Baton Rouge 2009.

Auburn/Ole Miss, Auburn, AL 2009.

That's kinda how I feel about Auburn this weekend.

He loves his school.

And I love mine.

Even though I have been known to wear an AU pin even though the game was hopeless...

Or try to recreate Toomer's lemonade so that he felt a little more at home when we were first living in Anderson.

And you know what I get in return...

nasty emails, mostly telling me I smell like a corn dog.

That's alright.

Not because I know my team is gonna win.

Cause that might not happen; it probably won't.

But the real reason we do all of this, that's what makes it alright.

The memories.
