We had such a random, weird weekend.
Random? Weird?
At my request, Andrew took me on a bowling date. We got to see the shadiest people in Anderson! Hanging out with those shady people of Anderson, we had ourselves a great time!
I look like I'm at a sock-hop.
"Some people have their own bowling ball, and their own bowling shoes...AND no friends."
Jim Gaffigan
On Sunday, we went to church. We reflected on 1 Peter: 5-11 and humility, something that can be hard to understand. We sang such a sweet, old hymn in closing called Satisfied.
When we got home, Andrew suggested that he make potato skins, 'cause I love, love them! So he did just that.
After those delicious tater skins, we took Sunday naps.
I think it's best for me, my stories, and the blog world for The Lee's to continue traveling 'cause I know you would rather read better, more interesting recaps of our weekend. But I only write the truth, and that was our truthful, random weekend in Anderson.
I've decided to omit the part where Andrew drew tattoos on my ankles to salvage dignity regarding our "love-lee" lives. But that also happened this weekend. Word.
Y'all needed a weekend at home. Looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteI like your sock hop outfit and the Jim Gaffigan quote.
I just linked your blog to mine and I can't wait to keep up with the Lee's life even the random and weird parts of it:) Your blog is fantastic by the way!
ReplyDeleteMichael is always begging for a bowling date! I give in every once in a while. It is definitely shady in Thibodaux-Houma, too! (But fun...shhhh don't tell Mike).
ReplyDeleteYou braved the bowling alley, I am so impressed right now.
ReplyDeletep.s. I follow Jim Gaffigan on Twitter, I highly recommend it for a daily laugh or two. :)
Brinkley said you look about 12 years old from behind (the sock-hop picture!) LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow funny, Jules and I went bowling this past Saturday night and had a BLAST!! Great entry :-)
