I'll have to give up the things that I've been enjoying since he's been gone, though. Things like going out with the girls on random Wednesday nights.
It was Dorothy's birthday, and we had such a lovely time. I chose to celebrate her birthday like I do mine. We had lunch together on Sunday along with a shopping date, breakfast together on Tuesday morning alongside Anderson's most elderly, and a girls night Wednesday night with some of her closest friends...and me. She's so very kind to include me!
The new wine bar in Anderson. Quite the charming spot for a champagne celebration!
I'm glad that my A.Lee is almost home even if I have to alter my lifestyle that I've been accustom to this past week. No more Oprah's at any hour, bed time at 8:30, girls nights on Wednesday, wearing his boxers to bed, or using all 7 pillows just for me.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't do these things all the time because I pretty much do. But I'm just glad he's home!
Happy weekend!
Fun! I know you missed him.
ReplyDeleteY'all better rest up for next weekend!!!
Thank YOU for celebrating with me and being a trooper thru multiple events! I had the best time!
ReplyDeleteGlad he is home safe and sound!
