The Anderson Bandwagon

It's official. We've caved and become part of what I refer to as "traits of annoying Anderson people."

I'll explain.

When something new occurs in Anderson, people flock. It's an obsession. It's ridiculous. This is mainly ridiculous because the venues they obsess over are not that good. I'm speaking of food, in particular. These people don't even know good food. (Note: locals do not flock to new people, it's mainly restaurants I'm referring to).

It's quite funny because this happens in any small town. I remember when Thibodaux got a Taco Bell. The line circled around the street! It's the same way in Anderson. I heard of stories of the obsession with Olive Garden. My friend tells me it was entirely too ridiculous in terms of the talk in the town.

Well we jumped on the band wagon and went to a place called YoGo. It's a yogurt shop (clear across town for us) that serves yogurt with any toppings that your little heart can dream, and you pay according to the weight of your cup! It was a pretty fun experience. And when we went this week, it was packed. Literally packed. And when we went the second time this week, it was packed again. (It's a very Anderson thing to do to go twice in one week). We're officially those annoying people and all we can talk about is YoGo.
